Robyn fans can come get their Honey on her new North American tour
The Robyn comeback push continues this week: The Swedish techno-popper announced today that she’s embarking on a new North American tour in support of her new album, Honey, which arrived last month. Honey has earned strong reviews (including our own, which dubbed it a “more spacious, sensual, and human expression of her sound”), and now Robyn is taking her first full album since 2010's Body Talk to the people.
Bad news for New Yorkers, though: Robyn’s big show in the city, at Madison Square Garden, has already sold out. (What can we say? MSG loves its dreamy synthpop.) Folks in the rest of the country are in more luck, though, at least as long as they’re in California, Minneapolis, Boston, Chicago, Montreal, Washington D.C., Seattle, Vancouver, or Toronto next February or March.
