Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a new lawsuit a little over a month before he’s set to go to trial for his sex trafficking and racketeering charges. An anonymous male photographer has accused the disgraced mogul of demanding oral sex in exchange for career advancement in a “blatant sexual quid-pro-quo,” per USA Today

Described in the New York filing as a “photographer/production assistant,” John Doe alleges that he met Combs on the set of a “high-profile commercial” in 2022 or 2023, where he “struck up a conversation” with the rapper. Allegedly, Combs proceeded to invite Doe back to his trailer, where he demanded oral sex with a promise to “make your career take off.”

“Combs framed this meeting as an opportunity for (Doe) to advance his career. (Doe), although hesitant, could not turn down what appeared to be a career-defining moment few ever receive,” the complaint, obtained by USA Today, reads. “The implication was clear, also, that if (Doe) did not perform oral sex on Combs to his satisfaction, his career would be over.” Per Deadline, John Doe never met Combs again, and the latter’s offer of career advancement never materialized.

Unsurprisingly, Combs’ legal team continued to maintain their client’s innocence in light of this new accusation, as they’ve done all along. “No matter how many lawsuits are filed—especially by individuals who refuse to put their own names behind their claims—it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor,” they said in a statement. “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”

Tony Buzbee, who already represents dozens of Combs’ alleged victims and is currently in a separate sparring match with Jay-Z, has also taken Doe on as a client. “We have worked hard to spear head this litigation zealously and ensure that the voices of these alleged victims are heard,” Buzbee shared in his own statement. “The facts set forth in this latest complaint are egregious and highly disturbing. We look forward to presenting these facts in court.”

Combs’ criminal trial is currently set to begin on May 5.
