Stan Lee, physically unable to resist popping up in a Marvel property, will indeed cameo in Gifted, the X-Men TV show whose pilot Bryan Singer is currently directing for Fox. Singer posted a photo of Lee on Instagram along with the caption, “Shooting my 3rd cameo with my epic friend @therealstanlee a few weeks ago at the famous #doublwide #bar in #Dallas #Texas.” Lee also appeared in Singer’s first X-Men movie in 2000, as well as 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse.
Gifted follows two parents, played by Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker, who must go to great lengths to protect mutant offspring. Judging by his past cameos, Lee will presumably play a bewildered passerby of some sort.
