Target shuts down the streaming video service it apparently had
Retail giant Target (“Like Wal-Mart But With A Graphic Designer On Staff”) has announced it is shutting down its streaming video service, which it has apparently had since 2013. The service, Target Ticket, offered thousands of movies and TV shows, but was unable to distinguish itself in an increasingly crowded market that includes Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Apple, Google, YouTube, Roku, HBO, Blockbuster, Xbox, Dish Network, Overstock.com, Shout! Factory, Nickelodeon, Lionsgate, Epix, Vudu, Crackle, Gryzzl, Frazzyl, Bryttl, Zptr, Hfngl, R#@r, …..!, and the George Foreman Lean, Mean, Content-Streaming Machine.
