Chris Pratt goes off the grid in first look at The Terminal List season 2

We’ll say this for Chris Pratt: Playing U.S. Navy SEAL turned vengeful punisher James Reece in The Terminal List has done little to diminish his inner Star Lord. Even with his noticeably leaner frame and grizzled misery beard in this first-look teaser for Terminal List‘s second season, there remains a glint of mirth in the actor’s eye that makes him fun to watch. The guy likes to work! Can’t say the same for his character, at least when it comes to completely clearing the latest name from his terminal list, but such is the essence of drama and, apparently, terminal lists. There’s always one name left! 

As the trailer below shows us, in typically arid, tense fashion, Pratt is delving ever deeper into his brittle man-on-a-mission role, for better or worse, as Reece seeks purpose after clearing the first draft of his terminal list last season. We see him setting sail to signify his isolation from humanity, spotting stowaway ghosts (like Taylor Kitch’s Ben Edwards), and scanning his morbid to-do list, which, alarmingly, includes his name.
