Sure, Duncan asserts to the viewer that he’s “The Man”—but that’s right before Zach Galifianakis shows up as Carl, a “former idealist pioneer of Silicon Valley,” who declares that Duncan’s not a unicorn—just “a jackass with a dildo taped to his head.”

The rest of the teaser mostly serves as a whirlwind introduction to the rest of the show’s cast, in various states of distress and/or pointing a gun at somebody, including Sarah Goldberg as a poorly paid therapist tasked with keeping tech “geniuses” from completely spinning out, plus Lucy Punch, Simon Helberg, Rob Corddry, Meaghan Rath, Paul Adelstein, Everett Blunck, Thailey Roberge, and Ava Marie Telek. The Audacity is being showrun by Glatzer, alongside fellow executive producer Gina Mingacci; the series debuts on AMC and AMC+ on Sunday, April 12 at 9 p.m.
