The Daily Wire is tripling down on running, hiding, and fighting. In fact, they’re running and hiding to quietly shoot what might as well be a third movie in its actively racist and roundly disliked action series Run Hide Fight, per The Bulwark. After imagining what would happen if pesky pro-Palestine college students met ISIS in this year’s Run Hide Fight: Infidels, Ben Shapiro’s imagination void has spat out: Let’s make an action romp about Operation Metro, the 2026 ICE insurgency in Minnesota, which left Renée Good and Alex Pretti dead and thousands in ICE custody. The Bulwark‘s Will Sommer obtained a copy of the script and reports that the film, under the working title Pawn Shop, will pit ICE agents against a loose coalition of protesters and MS-13 members. Pawn Shop is a siege film recalling Assault On Precinct 13, except with character descriptions like, “BELLOWS as only one with morbid obesity can,” “rooftop Korean,” and “listening to a POP SONG unfitting for a man.” Perhaps a better title for the film would be Run Hide Fight: The Writer’s Barely Disguised Insecurities.
Sommer also confirms that the movie features a Renée Good stand-in, described as NPR listener “MELANIE (40), a fat blue-hair,” who is gunned down minutes into the film. Removed from reality, the script reimagines Good’s death to more concretely justify her killing. In early January, ICE bodycams revealed footage of Good’s killing during one of the Minnesota ICE raids, where the Minnesotan woman attempted to move her car and leave the scene, telling her killer, ICE agent Jonathan Ross, “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you,” as she moved her car. As she drove away, Ross shot and killed her in front of her wife before someone off-screen called her a “fucking bitch” as she crashed her SUV.
Pawn Shop is currently shooting in Livingston, Montana, where locals haven’t been welcoming to the production. After obtaining the script, Montanans have begun protesting the shoot and honking car horns to disrupt it. One local told Sommer: “We want them to know: Don’t come do this shit in our town.”
This is hardly Daily Wire’s first foray into action movies. Readers definitely don’t remember the first in the series, Run Hide Fight, the school-shooter shoot-em-up that adopts the Mark Wahlberg 9/11 ethos of “If I was on that plane, it wouldn’t have gone down like it did.” But readers may remember Run Hide Fight: Infidels, the Islamophobic lone-wolf-loving actioner starring Jonathan Majors. Since its release last month, Infidels has become less known for ugly racist pandering and more for its laughably ridiculous homophobia. Understandably, The Daily Wire didn’t release viewership data on Infidels, which premiered on September 19. However, several first-time, definitely-not-AI Rotten Tomatoes audience reviewers rave: “Great movie. Very valuable piece.” and “Although they don’t get a lot of publicity, there are a number of learned people pointing out the implications of trying to blend Sharia Law with western civilization.” Another more believabley human write-up stated, “terrible acting and hilariously unrealistic movie. if you want to watch it for jokes then go ahead but it’s 99% slop.“
