Only a few short weeks after releasing the first full length trailer for The Gifted, Fox has given us another taste of its X-Men series—this time with more ominous voiceover. This glance at the show, the pilot of which is directed by Bryan Singer, once again plays up its mutants-on-the-run-from-the-law aspect. The heroine explains the experience of learning you have superpowers: “You find yourself in a different world, a world that fears and hate you, a world where you’re hunted.” And, apparently, suspended midair in a plastic-like substance if the bad guys get you. The Gifted, which stars Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker as parents of mutant children, is set to premiere Mondays in the fall.
