Let it never be said that the writers of RuPaul’s Drag Race or any of its various spinoff series have ever left a perfectly good pun on the table. So we would expect nothing less from the new trailer for the second season of RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race, which proclaims that, this season, the tops and the bottoms (get it?!) are switching places. In other words, rather than the two worst performers lip syncing for their lives at the end of every episode, the two best queens will “lip sync for their legacy,” and the winner of that onstage face-off will decide who goes home. That shouldn’t get competitive at all.
