Streamers are finally catching on to the magic of the movies. Namely, at a movie theater, you can charge streaming subscribers a second time to watch the same thing in a bigger and better communal space. They can even sell merch there. The possibilities for commerce are endless at the multiplex, which is why we’re seeing so many streamers finally putting their shows on the big screen. Following Netflix’s Johnny-come-lately idea to sell tickets to KPop Demon Hunters, Stranger Things, and One Piece watch parties at AMC Theaters, HBO is encouraging those seeking medical assistance to please contact their local Alamo Drafthouse. Earlier today, HBO announced that the season finale of The Pitt would screen early in 10 Alamo Drafthouse movie theaters around the country. The screenings will take place on April 13, three days before the episode airs on HBO on April 16.
