The "Queen family" is apparently discussing a Bohemian Rhapsody sequel
Nobody can really fault the surviving members of Queen for using the success of the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody to get paid, since that was clearly one of the big reasons that project existed in the first place, but at some point it’s just going to be too much. We’ve already had to endure what must be a thousand-percent increase in Queen songs being used in TV commercials (sometimes the same Queen song over and over), and now longtime Queen music video director Rudi Dolezal is suggesting that the members of Queen are talking about putting together a sequel to Bohemian Rhapsody. Given the events of Freddie Mercury’s life, the sequel would have to either divert from the triumphant events of Bohemian Rhapsody to be about Mercury’s tragic death, or it would be about the surviving members’ uncanny ability to continue making money off of his legacy decades after his death. Either way, it doesn’t sound very pleasant.
