The Sklar brothers say their new audio documentary is a love letter to stand-up
While on the road in 2017, Randy and Jason Sklar challenged themselves to write five to seven minutes of stand-up material specific to each community they visited. And these had to be jokes that locals would find funny—not just surface-level observations. To complete the challenge, the Sklars explored the cultures and people in each of the cities they visited, and got a real sense of what different parts of the country experience. The brothers brought producer Scott Rogowsky on tour with them and are releasing their adventures as a six-hour long audio documentary titled Sklars And Stripes. We spoke with Randy and Jason about the new project and its creation.
