The trailer for Mean Girls 2: Whither the Lohan?
“You fell head-over-heels for the first Mean Girls,” so in the grand tradition of American Pie: Stifler’s Mom’s Nephew’s Cousin’s Former Roommate and Bring It On: Maybe This Time It’s A Latina Girl, here it is all over again—minus Tina Fey’s script, Lindsay Lohan or any of the supporting cast who are now more famous and bankable than Lindsay Lohan, and with the same basic plot updated with the most minor of twists, like now there are also some Avril Lavigne-type girls or something. Also, Tim Meadows has Eugene Levied his way into being the de facto face of this now-franchise—which, he has to put food on his table and clothes on his kids’ backs, so good for him. Anyway, the straight-to-video sequel industry continues to prevent our nation from plunging into total financial collapse. [via The Hairpin]
