There’s a new Foo Fighters album coming this November
The Foo Fighters will take listeners down a Sonic Highway, with the band’s eighth studio album being released worldwide on Monday, Nov. 10. Dave Grohl says the Butch Vig-produced record is “instantly recognizable as a Foo Fighters” product, but that “there’s something deeper and more musical to it,” which could maybe be attributed to the album’s recording process. Highways was recorded in eight different cities (Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.), with each city getting its own specific album art for the LP release, meaning the band hopes its most extreme fans will want to own nine different copies of the exact same record. At just eight tracks and 44 minutes long, Sonic Highways is available now for pre-order via Foo Fighters’ website.
