Shamed, no doubt, by its excoriating treatment in our recent Inventory, the MPAA has overturned its NC-17 rating on bleak relationship drama Blue Valentine, giving the film the less off-putting R for its realistic depictions of sad married people sex. Parents can now start planning their kids’ birthday parties appropriately.
