Bound for eternal Internet glory, here’s your first look at Tom Cruise playing Stacee Jaxx in Rock Of Ages. Based on the Broadway jukebox musical—which in turn was based on those Monster Ballads infomercials, we guess—the Adam Shankman-directed movie finds Cruise playing a hair metal rock star at the peak of his sleazy powers. This photo should give you some idea of how tastefully Shankman plans to translate it to film, and what the finished product will eventually do to your eye- and earholes.
