Any band can make a music video these days, but it takes a special group to make a video that’s actually watchable and entertaining. That’s what Sleepy Sun did for its new clip. “Galaxy Punk” is trippy—like most videos these days—but also tells the fairytale-like story of a whole civilization that lives in the woods, including a magical little boy and a giant man made of straw. It’s weird, but everything Lewis Carroll did was plenty weird too.
Sleepy Sun’s latest record, Maui Tears, came out back in January. The band has a number of tour dates coming up, including a stop at Austin’s Psych Fest this May. All the dates are listed below.
