Twin Peaks’ opening credits only get creepier when remade using paper

As the world gets prepared for more David Lynch-helmed Twin Peaks, it’s the perfect time to revisit the original. That opening credit sequence, with its quaint look at a superficially simple Pacific Northwest town, has become iconic through the years. With Angelo Badalementi’s instrumental version of Julee Cruise’s “Falling” playing in the background, it sets the mood for an askew look at reality that only someone like David Lynch (with Mark Frost) could deliver. Now someone has taken those credits and made a shot-for-shot remake using only paper and animation.
