Two more characters depart from Game Of Thrones’ fifth season
[Minor spoilers involving characters you probably forgot about ahead]
In a sad development for fans of kids wandering around looking hungry, Game Of Thrones fan site Winter Is Coming has confirmed that Rickon Stark and his wildling pal Osha won’t appear on Game Of Thrones next season. This is hardly a shock, first because news of their traveling companions’ departure broke a month ago, and second because even George R. R. Martin seems to have forgotten about the youngest Stark sibling (Rickon who, right folks?) for the time being. It does, however, dash hopes for a Scooby-Doo-style spinoff where the duo wanders the countryside solving mysteries.
Until Martin turns his capricious eye on her character once more, Natalia Tena, the actress who plays Osha, will be keeping herself busy with a number of upcoming film roles. 12-year-old Art Parkinson, on the other hand, is too young to tag along on the “Rave Of Thrones” DJ tour, but he does appear as Vlad the Impaler’s son in the upcoming Dracula Untold. So go see Dracula Untold, in theaters October 10, 2014, or else the poor kid will have to go to school or something.
