Lifetime’s UnREAL was one of the biggest surprise hits of least season, not least because it’s on Lifetime. And these teasers for the show’s upcoming second season are an elegantly efficient way to catch people up on the show’s premise if they’re just now jumping on board. Basically, the show is about the drama (and comedy) that occurs behind the scenes of a popular Bachelor-like dating show, and these teasers reveal how innocuous-seeming statements can be manipulated by clever TV editors (played here by stars Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer) to mean completely different things. It’s sort of like seeing how the proverbial sausage gets made, if the sausage is people screaming at each other on TV.
