USA orders a true-crime pilot about Biggie and Tupac’s murders
Not wanting to be left out of the sudden (and somewhat inexplicable) rise of ’90s-set true crime TV, the USA Network has ordered a pilot about the murders of Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur. Unsolved will take as its inspiration Murder Rap, LAPD detective Greg Kading’s non-fiction book about the mid-’90s murders of the influential rap stars, and will be executive produced by Anthony Hemingway.
