If you’re one of those people who imagines what Fucked Up might sound like if the band had been born and bred in the Deep South instead of chilly Canada—which, granted, wouldn’t exactly make you alone, as we’ve all done that from time to time throughout our lives—you might be intrigued to hear Vices. The Jacksonville, Florida, outfit’s debut full-length, New Breed, is cresting the horizon, and it’s a blinding mix of anthemic punk rage and mosquito-stung, Southern rock swagger. The album’s swampy, sweaty title track is being debuted here; if you’ve been waiting for the perfect soundtrack to an Okefenokee mosh pit, wait no longer.
