Warner Bros. opens Prince’s vaults, unreleased music coming next month
Prince was an incredibly prolific artist in his lifetime, and new—at least to us—material from the late great legend is on its way. Warner Bros. Records announced yesterday that it will be digging into his archives and releasing a bunch of music that had previously been unavailable. First, Prince4Ever, a greatest hits collection due out in November, will feature the song “Moonbeam Levels,” which was recorded back in 1982 during the sessions for 1999 but never used. It will appear on the record alongside hits like “When Doves Cry,” “Little Red Corvette,” and “Purple Rain.”
