For over 40 years, the Toronto International Film Festival has attracted some of the best filmmakers in the world to showcase the biggest films of the year. This year’s festival saw the release of Darren Aronofsky’s wildly controversial Mother! and the James Franco-directed The Disaster Artist. Past festival winners include La La Land, The Princess Bride, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. While there this year, The A.V. Club took the chance to ask some of the festival’s biggest filmmakers a question: What is your all-time favorite movie?
