What's on TV this week—The Beast In Me and Malice

Welcome to What’s On, our weekly roundup of notable shows. Here is what’s happening on TV from Sunday, November 9 to Saturday, November 15. All times are Eastern.

The biggies

The Beast In Me (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)

In this thriller from creator Gabe Rotter (X-Files) and showrunner Howard Gordon (Homeland), Claire Danes stars as a reclusive author grieving her child. She finds a new subject in a real estate mogul (played by Matthew Rhys) accused of killing his missing wife. As she peers into his life, the two engage in a cat-and-mouse chase that quickly turns deadly. The ensemble includes Brittany Snow, Natalie Morales, Jonathan Banks, and David Lyons. Look for The A.V. Club‘s review on Thursday.

Malice (Prime Video, Friday, 3:01 a.m.)

British psychological mystery Malice centers on Adam Healey (Jack Whitehall), who infiltrates a wealthy family’s vacation in Greece and later gets hired as their nanny in London. Of course, Adam has ulterior motives and his only goal is to destroy the Tanner clan, led by Jamie (David Duchovny) and Nat (Carice Van Houten). The A.V. Club‘s review will be up on Friday.

Also airing

Bat-Fam (Prime Video, Monday, 3:01 a.m.)

A follow up to 2023’s Merry Little Batman, this series unpacks the close-knit Bat-Fam‘s dynamics as they live together in Wayne Manor and try to save Gotham from a slew of criminals. Luke Wilson voices the Caped Crusader, with Bobby Moynihan, James Cromwell, Reid Scott, and Deidrich Bader rounding out the cast.

After the deal with Warner Bros. fell through last year, Sesame Street moves into the new neighborhood of Netflix.
