Yellowjackets make it home for the final season this November

After four years in the wilderness, the Yellowjackets have almost made it back to the hive. The fourth and final season of Yellowjackets approaches, and if the new teaser is to be believed, homecomings aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. As Kurt Loder reports to an Ozymandias-style array of TV screens, the media frenzy surrounding the once-lost team of talented young footballers means facing the past. The fourth and final season of Yellowjackets, which tracks the twin timelines of the team lost in the woods and their older selves living with the trauma of their time in nature, arrives just in time for Thanksgiving. But it doesn’t sound like any of them are ready to break bread. Here’s the logline from Paramount:

“As the survivors race to bury their sins before rescue arrives and an old flame roars back into town with plans of her own. Turns out not every homecoming is a joyous one, and this one’s going to sting.”

Yellowjackets still stars Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya, Jenna Burgess, and Hilary Swank as Adult Melissa. Also joining the welcome home party, Molly Ringwald and June Squibb have been reported to have recurring roles when the series returns on November 20.
