Confirming what many have suspected, American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy has assured viewers that Jessica Lange will continue to collect awards and provide most of the show’s campy pleasures in its second season. Murphy dropped the sort-of-revelation last night to polka-dotted pocket square Andy Cohen, during an appearance on the latter’s TV show Watch What Happens When Andy Cohen Has Carte Blanche To Put Himself On Television Five Nights A Week. However, he stopped short of saying what sort of character Lange would be playing, given that the second season will be a complete restart from the first. Probably someone catty, we would expect. Anyway, this makes Lange the first confirmed returning American Horror Story cast member; meanwhile, somewhere in the darkness, Dylan McDermott’s naked ass mournfully whistles into the winter wind.
