The Flash (The CW, 8 p.m.): It’s been a long season of The Flash, full of villains and then some other villains, and for a brief moment, a surprise daughter who was also a villain. That gallery of rogues wasn’t always super compelling, but through it all, in fits and starts, we had a giant in our midst. Welcome back, original recipe Tom Cavanagh.

What’s My Name | Muhammad Ali (HBO, 8 p.m.): Produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, Antoine Fuqua’s (Training Day) documentary traces “the extraordinary life of one of the 20th century’s most iconic figures” by leaning hard on a very important source: the man himself. Fuqua uses recordings of Ali’s voice and archival footage, some of it previously unseen, throughout his film.
