Former MythBuster co-host Adam Savage is out on the road as half of the Brain Candy Live! team, criss-crossing the country informing audiences about the properties of air—from its movements to its sounds and weight. We were witness to that last week when the pair stopped in Chicago. After the show, we snuck backstage to chat up Savage about a number of different scientific topics, including one he and Stevens brought up in the show: that, due to the elevation, you can’t boil potatoes on Mount Everest.
