Adrianne Palicki is now a series regular on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

After spending half of a season cutting off one head only for two more to take its place, Adrianne Palicki has decided she likes her new Inhuman friends on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. enough to make it a full-time gig. Before the midseason break, she was already appearing pretty regularly as Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse, but this announcement makes it official—and implies that she won’t be getting killed off any time soon. This comes from TV Line, which also provides us with an official synopsis for “Aftershocks,” the first new episode after Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s break.

Thanks to that synopsis, we know remember that Palicki’s character was involved in some mysterious scheme, and apparently that’s going to “have grave repercussions for Coulson and his team, who are unaware that there’s another mysterious force moving against them.” So, comic nerds, who is actually pulling the strings here, if not those dicks at Hydra? A.I.M.? The Kree? The X-Men for some reason? Nick Fury, just screwing with everybody for fun?
