Albuquerque to honor Breaking Bad with a gala sendoff and monument

A steakhouse in Albuquerque plans to hold [SPOILERS FOR THE FINALE YOU REALLY SHOULD HAVE SEEN BEFORE READING ANYTHING ABOUT IT] a memorial service for Walter White tomorrow, lest the Breaking Bad character go to his rest without a proper sendoff. Vernon’s Hidden Valley Steakhouse is throwing the event at the nearby Sunset Memorial Park, about five miles down the road. Really wealthy White fans and neo-Nazi drug lords can pony up $2,000 to have their name or their business' name engraved onto Walter White’s headstone, which is a thing that’s going to exist. For a $5,000 donation, patrons purchasing the “Remember My Name” VIP package receive not only admission to the funeral and reception and headstone privileges, but also “two seats in the funeral procession limo from Walter White’s death location to Sunset Memorial Cemetery.”
