Amy Schumer is raffling off “a disappointing lap dance” for charity
To promote its upcoming Amy Schumer-starring comedy Trainwreck—and to help people with a terrible disease—Universal has teamed up with crowdfunding site CrowdRise to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by raffling off two tickets to the film’s premiere in New York (plus airfare and two nights in “a four star hotel”). You get one entry in the raffle for $10, three entires and “a digital thank you” from director Judd Apatow for $25, and seven entries plus a “digital thank you” from both Apatow and Schumer for $50.
Schumer’s father was diagnosed with MS when she was a child, and the impact that made on her apparently inspired a storyline in Trainwreck. If that’s still not enough to convince you to donate, though, the grand prize actually gets a little grander: In addition to the trip to the premiere, one lucky donator will also get a chance to walk on the red carpet and take photos with the cast (LeBron James is in the movie! You could take a selfie with him!), have Bill Hader bring you popcorn “with special truffle salt,” and the big money prize, “a disappointing lap dance” from Schumer herself.
The contest ends on July 6, so make sure to get your entries in soon if you want to brag(?) about the disappointing lap dance you got from a famous person.
