Aside from a select few who have seen early cuts, the new Ghostbusters movie thus far exists primarily as a talking point for people who like to get angry about things online. We’ve covered their collective outrage before, but it seems that not even the endorsement of the man who literally created the universe about which they feel such a sense of entitlement can make a dent in their opinions about the film. Hitfix reports Dan Aykroyd saw a cut of the new film—a film he’s been on record as supporting from the beginning, despite its pronounced lack of Dan Aykroyd starring roles—and took to social media to sing its praises.
