Arnold Schwarzenegger is The Man With The Bag in new Christmas movie trailer

Prime Video has released a trailer for The Man With The Bag, the streamer’s latest Christmas varietal that finds Arnold Schwarzenegger playing Santa Claus, as the prophecies have long foretold. In the film, Santa hunts for his Christmas bag of toys and treats, stolen by a rogue elf played by Awkwafina for reasons we must presume have to do with Santa’s dubious wages and overtime demands during the peak Christmas stretch. At any rate, while it’s doubtful the action-movie legend will be packing heat or wielding a barbarian sword during his latest cinematic quest, Schwarzenegger is at least channeling our enthusiasm for his career with a sense of holiday spirit (Jingle All The Way reference!), sporting a Santa beard and bellowing into the camera, “I’m back!” (“Ho ho ho” will do, SchwarzenClaus.) Fellow big-guy Alan Ritchson is also here as Vance, a thief who long ago landed on Santa’s Naughty List yet is recruited by Ol’ Saint Nick to retrieve his bundle of gifts, for which Vance would presumably qualify for at least one by taking on this gig. “Along with his daughter, Santa, and a group of misfits, Vance will have to pull off the greatest heist of his life to save Christmas,” says the film’s logline.
