Stephen Amell embraces his abdominal destiny in new Baywatch trailer

No doubt, the obligations of playing David Hasselhoff‘s son are legion! We see a plane crash in the ocean, only for it to be ferried out of the depths with Amell riding on its nose. Charlie (Jessica Belkin) appears on his doorstep as his long-lost biological daughter (she’s a lifeguard, too!), who says, “Don’t worry, I’m not looking for money. Or a father. Just need a job!” Then there’s the day-to-day of managing a pack of young, love- and/or attention-starved lifeguards, all of whom smolder and smile as they run in bouncing slow-mo to the franchise’s theme song. Truly, it’s the part Amell was born to play, baby! 

Joining Amell and Belkin are Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars), Hassie Harrison (Dangerous Animals), Thaddeus LaGrone (Mr. Irrelevant), Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brooks Nader, SI model and gymnast Olivia Dunne, TikTok influencer Noah Beck, original Baywatch actor David Chokachi (Cody Madison from the original series), and Megan Thee Stallion, who guest stars as herself.
