Bethesda Announces Wolfenstein: The Old Blood with a New Trailer
Bethseda Softworks, the studio behind 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order, has just released a trailer for the latest entry in the Nazi-killing, first-person shooter series. The Old Blood is a prequel to the 2014 game that sets our protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz on the brink of the Nazis winning World War II in 1946.
Developed by the Sweden-based Machine Games, Old Blood will pit players against a Nazi regime in a two-part mission in Bavaria. Part one, titled “Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves,” will involve going head-to-head with a “maniacal prison warden” in Castle Wolfenstein to discover the coordinates of General Deathshead’s compound. Part two is titled “The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs” and will lead players to the city of Wulfburg where a Nazi archaeologist is exhuming ancient artifacts that threaten to unleash a dark power onto the world.
