Beyoncé’s world tour goes into “Formation” this April
After racking up millions of views for her “Formation” video and effectively sidelining the ostensible headliners at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, Beyoncé has announced her plans for world (tour) domination. The platinum-selling artist will kick off a 37-city tour this spring that will take her from Miami to the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels (that should help set off a few new Illuminati theories). The tour will be her first in two years, following 2014’s The Mrs. Carter World Tour Show and On The Run, which saw her hit the road with husband Jay-Z.
“Formation” is reportedly the first single off Beyoncé’s upcoming album, which will be supported by her North American and European tour. The singer released a separate video for the tour announcement, in which she appears as different forces of nature. The complete list of tour dates is below, and tickets will be on sale via Ticketmaster on February 16.
