Boardwalk Empire makes masked hitman a series regular
Jack Huston—who plays Boardwalk Empire’s half-masked, menacing-yet-sympathetic marksman Richard Harrow—has officially been upped to series regular status for the show’s second season, after turning Harrow into one of Boardwalk’s most interesting characters in a mere five episodes. Huston’s standout work on Boardwalk also recently landed him one of the leads in David Chase’s 1960s rock ’n’ roll drama Twylight Zones, after creator Terence Winter recommended him to his old Sopranos boss. Other fun facts about Jack Huston: He used to be a model. He’s the grandson of legendary director, screenwriter, and actor John Huston and the nephew of Anjelica Huston. He enjoys watercress sandwiches and cribbage, probably. He’s obviously seen Sling Blade.
