Brian Wilson is writing his autobiography now

Though Wilson says he doesn’t “like to dwell on the bad times” because “it makes [him] sad in [his] heart,” he says he feels like it might be a good time to purge his brain and look back.

The book will tell, in Wilson’s words for the first time, “the epic highs and lows of his life,” including his bad relationship with his father, the loss of his mother and brothers, his fear of live performance, and how he struggled to make the Beach Boys less commercial. He’ll also address his very public bouts with drug addiction and mental illness.
