This fresh blood, which is a phrase we are using because the actor used to be on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, so vampires and whatnot, comes in the form of Charisma Carpenter, who played Cordelia Chase on both Buffy and Angel, and thus will already have experience in solving murders. “It’s a demon!”, her character will likely exclaim multiple times, as the police in Chicago’s District 21 back away slowly.
