Apple TV decides we deserve this Cape Fear teaser

Nearly a decade after Sharp Objects, Amy Adams is entangled in another murder plot in the American South, and it seems like she might be oh-for-two in getting the right person locked up for their crimes. This morning, Apple TV shared the first teaser for its upcoming series Cape Fear, based on Martin Scorsese’s 1991 film of the same name and the 1957 novel The Executioners upon which Scorsese’s film is based. The first teaser doesn’t reveal a ton of new info about the series’ plot, but it certainly sets the tone. If the title alone wasn’t enough of a clue, Anna (Adams) and Tom (Patrick Wilson) should be very afraid.
