Wow, this thing is really coming to an end, huh? The second full-length trailer for Avengers: Endgame arrived this morning courtesy of Marvel Studios, and things are still looking fairly bleak for our remaining superheroes. There is one slight departure from our previous glimpse at the movie, though, and it comes in the form of an unflinching badass who really doesn’t give a damn about your flying hammer, Thor.
We finally get to see Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel take her place alongside the rest of the (dejected, slightly beaten) Avengers, and while we don’t get to see her in action, she looks like she’s ready to take down whatever trouble is headed her way. She’ll be of great help to Thor, Cap, Black Widow, Iron Man, and the rest as they prepare themselves to do “whatever it takes” to put a stop to Thanos’ dusty reign of terror.
There is a great sense of loss that permeates throughout the clip, but between the intermittent flashes of action, training, and a fresh set of suits, it looks like Thanos is in for one hell of a fight—and so are we.
Marvel has also released the official Endgame poster, featuring the Moody Purple One and the survivors of The Dusting:
Avengers: Endgame, the final Avengers installment and the epic conclusion of this phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, premieres in theaters April 26.
