Cary Fukunaga’s It adaptation will begin filming next summer
Director Cary Fukunaga’s next project, an adaptation of Steven King’s It, will go before cameras next summer, according to its producer. Vulture reports that producer Dan Lin expects official prep work to begin in March. Noting the long gestation period for this project, Lin says that Fukunaga, who won an Emmy for directing True Detective earlier this year, “likes to develop things for a while, and we’ve been with this for about three or four years.”
