MS NOW, CNN return to White House hours after judge reads constitution

President Trump banned what he called “fake news” outlets, CNN, MS NOW, and Politico last week, citing a risk to national security, which did not include refusing to regulate dangerous technologies or showing up to the UN threatening to annihilate Iran. That national security scheme reportedly sprang from the twisted mind of an anonymous “senior administration official,” who turned out to be none other than Vice President JD Vance because of course it was. Nevertheless, Trump spent the rest of the week singling out CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins, whom he calls one of the “SLEAZEBAG” because she doesn’t smile at him at work. 

The news outlets filed a lawsuit against the White House on First Amendment grounds, and other outlets stood by them in solidarity, with The Washington Post and Fox News showing a rare semblance of backbone and refusing to cover the White House press conferences until access was restored. Despite offering a rare instance where a rights violation actually benefited the nation’s tired and poor, who were briefly spared from hearing the billionaire president’s voice, the defend-yourself strategy worked.
