Demi Moore out, Chloë Sevigny in for Linda Lovelace biopic
Lovelace, the Cannonball Run of competing Linda Lovelace biopics, has lost one of the many celebrities it’s recruited to class up the seedy story of the Deep Throat star (which is not unlike the original’s “porn chic” days when Jack Nicholson, Johnny Carson, and Truman Capote used to consider it a sophisticated night out). Unfortunately, Demi Moore has had to back away from playing feminist icon Gloria Steinem, a decision motivated by her recent hospitalization. According to her publicist, Moore will be indefinitely indisposed while seeking treatment for “exhaustion” and “the stresses in her life;” and according to everyone who’s familiar with publicists, Moore is probably in rehab for substance abuse.
