Though The A.V. Club has covered Dogs On Acid before, the band recently signed to Jade Tree records and has since announced its self-titled, debut full-length. The record will be released on August 28, but The A.V. Club is premiering the album’s opening track, “Keep In Touch,” below. For those uninitiated, Dogs On Acid features members of Glocca Morra, Snowing, and Algernon Cadwallader, among others, and Dogs On Acid has become the outlet for the members’ poppiest offerings to date. “Keep In Touch” may have its fair share of knotty guitar work, but the choruses overflow with hooks in the grand tradition of Guided By Voices and Superchunk.
