Introducing Endless Mode: A New Games & Anime Site from Paste
Trading her very stylish hats for her original bunhead state, Amy Sherman-Palladino, the Emmy-winning creator of Gilmore Girls, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and, yes, Bunheads, returns to Prime Video with a new ballet series: Étoile. The series, which Palladino co-created with her husband and frequent co-worker, Daniel Palladino, is more of a grand affair than her previous exploits on the stage. Backed by the streamer that brought the world Citadel, the series takes place in New York and Paris, where Charlotte Gainsbourg and Luke Kirby risk it all to save their studios by swapping the biggest stars, namely a dancer played by Lou de Laâge, of their respective ballet companies.
