Faith No More will release a new album this spring, its first in 18 years. The “Epic” group will release Sol Invictus May 19 via Ipecac and Reclamation Recordings. The group’s last record, Album of The Year, came out in 1997.
Produced by bassist Bill Gould in the band’s own studio, Sol Invictus will be supported by a tour, dates for which are below. (Note: All North American dates are sold out.) The first single off the record, “Superhero,” will be released as a 7-inch on March 17 and digitally a couple of weeks later, though fans probably won’t have to wait that long, considering the nature of the Internet these days.
