Synopsis
Carpeted Afterhours is a series of surreal vignettes gently poking fun at different aspects of suburban life. The show paints a portrait of what initially appears to be contemporary Middle America - strip malls, book clubs, community soccer games, office parks, etc. However, the setting is soon revealed to be separate from reality, creating a self-contained alternative world where everything familiar is turned upside-down.
