Synopsis
Alessandro sees the beautiful Caterina, a woman he knows little about. Luca sees Carlotta every so often, a woman who appears and reappears in his house when she feels like it. What Alessandro and Luca are not aware of, is that Caterina and Carlotta are (apparently) twin sisters. The two women meet regularly in what remains of their old home. Caterina is a victim of her sister Carlotta's continual blackmailing, forcing her to steal money and valuables objects from Alessandro's house. Caterina and Carlotta agree on the fact that it is now time for them to 'make a break'. Salvatore is a private investigator who, looking for a missing young woman, Letizia, believes he recognizes her in Caterina and in Carlotta.
